The beauty of Natural Stone.

Projected by Burkley Gray Yeoman and developed by Kajima Properties, the unique design of 77 Coleman differs this building from the others surrounding the area.

The refurbishment started in 2018 and has 7 luxurious floors with distinct finishes with a view to the Coleman Street Garden. It counts with communal spaces, offices (Category A), high ceilings and excellent views of the city.

The building has a contemporary design and unique finishes, making a flawless detail look. It features a new impressive façade using Portuguese limestone cladding, and contrasting with handmade brickwork, highlighting the new entrance on Coleman Street. The entrance of the building is framed in a way to highlight the beautiful limestone.

There is a terrace on the sixth floor both facing Moorgate and Coleman Street covered with Portuguese limestone Moleanos maximizing the views across London. On the seventh floor, there is a glass-covered terrace. These two main elevations have distinguished designs, to create two different contrasts. On the Moorgate side, the façade is covered with Moleanos Limestone with a dark bronze floor ceiling curtain. On Coleman Street, the façade is also covered with Moleanos on the ground floor and with handmade brickwork above. LSI Stone supplied limestone Moleanos and Perlina for the exterior façade. The creamy tones of this limestones are the perfect balance between the skyscrapers and the neutral buildings of the area.

For the 80 Fenchurch project, the stone used was Moleanos Limestone with a honed finish. In total, more than 1600 panels were produced to cover the entire building, and around 40 panels are being applied to the building's façade, per day.

Moleanos limestone is a Portuguese limestone with light beige coloured background and a slight greyish tonality, with thin to medium grain and disperse brownish fine spots. This type of stone is very popular in the United Kingdom due to its similarities to Portland and resistance to weather conditions. Making it more subtle then Perlina in visual terms. Perlina Limestone is a dark creamy and beige colour with neutral tones, having a compact appearance with small to large size brownish fossils. The finish used was honed, identical to the polished finish, but the surface is smooth and without glare or light reflections.

The building offers many opportunities to socialize and work. This modern twist brings a whole new life to the area.
